What I Forgot... Rediscovered
Three Japanese toys. I lost the fish. Looked and looked for it. Finally found it, welcomed it back like a dear friend!
My two cousins and I at our backyard tea party, an old photo I couldn't find for years, unearthed from an unmarked envelope, framed and hung in the dining room, where I enjoy it as I walk by.
This old Kodak, one of three cameras my friend’s father had owned in the 1930s, buried among my memorabilia until now, when I excavated all three to give to my grandson.
Two postcards of Belgian statues my late daughter Sydney gave me. I found them in a shoe box of photos and cards. Set on my poetry bookshelf so I won’t lose them ever again.
